Get to Know Dr. Jeff Sekerak

Dr. Jeffrey Sekerak graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1987. Growing up in Allen Park, Dr. Sekerak had been a patient of Family Dentistry as a child and began working in the office following his graduation.

Dr. Sekerak and his wife Clare, a Nurse Practitioner at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital, have three grown sons. Christopher, their oldest son, has a degree in Business Information Systems and is currently employed by Chrysler. He and his wonderful wife Alecia live in Allen Park with their dogs Layla and Raider. Daniel, their middle son, is a CPA with Ernst & Young. Patrick, their youngest son, has a degree in Advertising/Marketing and is managing a plumbing warehouse in Cincinnati.

Dr. Sekerak now lives in Ann Arbor and is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Detroit District Dental Society. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife Clare and their two dogs Daisy and Dahlia at their cottage in West Branch.

Get to Know Dr. Kyle Bell

Dr. Bell grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. After his time there, he relocated to Chapel Hill where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina. During training, Dr. Bell developed a strong interest in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery.

Since beginning practice, Dr. Bell has focused on providing compassionate patient-centered care that helps people feel comfortable in the dental chair. He especially enjoys working with anxious patients and striving to make every visit a positive experience.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bell enjoys weightlifting, traveling, and watching any and every sport that’s on TV. Dr. Bell is excited to be a part of the team at Family Dentistry of Allen Park and looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Get to Know Dr. Mahngar

Dr. Jaskiran Mahngar earned a BS in biology from the University of Detroit Mercy, then went on to earn her DDS from Touro College of Dental Medicine in New York as part of the inaugural class. Since graduating, Dr. Mahngar has been working in Michigan to deliver pain-free dentistry to patients of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and fiancé, as well as traveling.
